Our hope is that the next President of the United States will use this website as a resource to keep in touch with real people like you. We will send DVDs of letters to the White House.

This project also builds community and allows us to share our views with each other.

WHO should visit our home?
Everyone who would like to send a video letter to the next President of the United States of America.

WHAT is the experience of Dear Mr. President,?
The mobile video booth is a miniature house that participants visit by walking inside, taking a seat on the comfortable chair, and recording a personal video letter addressed to the next President of the United States.

WHAT makes a good video letter?
Participants are encouraged to share personal stories, feelings, and thoughts about their lives. Messages that are heartfelt and sincere will have the most impact. Visitors are encouraged to plan their visit and record a well thought out message. However, anyone may spontaneously discover the video house, enter it, and record their stories.

WHERE can I visit the mobile video booth?
The installation will travel around the CSUN campus, staying at each location Monday- Thursday. The future locations of the video house will be published on www.dearmrpresident.org so that visitors may plan a visit.

HOW can I watch the video letters?
The video letters will be organized and published at www.dearmrpresident08.org. Letters will be posted soon after they are recorded.

October 6th, 2008 – November 6th, 2008.
